The intro track to this album did not sit very well with me, made me think the album was not going to be overly impressive; though thankfully the next track ‘Headbite’ is a pretty powerful openerand grabbed my attention instantly. Hard, gritty and reminiscient of Prodigy; with a little dubstep thrown in. I’m sure at one point i hear a sample from ‘Breathe’ by Prodigy, perhaps a little ‘tip of the hat’ to their influences. They keep this stength flowing nicely with ‘Let Me Go’. I could see this track going down really well in mainstream markets, and could be the key to cracking them. Still this is a great song, no matter what direction you come from musically. Very catchy. Nude continue in ‘Upbeatrealizm’ to show their versatility when they cross a heavy jungle/trance sound, with a mix of Industrial EBM, even a little touch of hip-hop. The track ‘Panic Attack’comes across as a mix again of Prodigy with vocals similar to the likes of machine gun fellatio. The electic sounds of Nude truly have me hooked! Every song is like a journey with so much going on. What is really impressive, is how they have managed to keep this element to the songs, while acheiving a good catchy hook that makes you want to hear more. By far, my favourite tracks on the album are ‘You Had it Coming’ followed straight away by ‘Ruff, Rugged + Raw’. These two tracks are quick dark and gritty once again, a sound I personally love, and the lyrics have a sinister edge. When played together the running order of these tracks blend perfectly; in the right place at the right time. Nude managed to keep me hooked the entire time I was listening, and I have repeated the process many times since! Asides from the slightly odd intro track, I couldnt really fault anything about this album!

My highest scorer to date, Nude get a well deserved 9.5 out of 10.
